Who we are
wee-deliver is a delivery service around Eden University's Main Campus and Barlastone Park, Lusaka, Zambia. Customers request deliveries in this app and independent riders carry them out.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, phone number and password. We store your password scrambled (hashed), so nobody can read it.
- Your orders: what you order, pickup and delivery places, payment method, mobile money reference, chat messages and ratings.
- Your location, only if you choose to share it: when you tap “Share my exact location”, your phone's location is saved with that order. We never track you in the background.
- Riders: also deliveries done, earnings, balances and payments, and the identity details given when joining.
How we use it
- To deliver your orders and let you and your rider contact each other.
- To work out fees, confirm payments and settle riders' earnings.
- To keep the service safe, sort out problems and complaints, and keep business and tax records.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising by other companies.
Who can see it
- Your rider sees your phone number and shared location only after accepting your order, and only to complete that delivery.
- Other riders see an open order's items, places and your name, but not your phone number or exact location.
- wee-deliver admins can see accounts and orders to run the service.
- We may share information if the law requires it.
Where it is kept
Information is stored on wee-deliver's secure server and in regular backups. This app also remembers your login and recent places on your own phone.
Your choices
- Sharing your location is optional. You can block it in your phone or browser settings at any time.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or close your account, by contacting us (below). We may need to keep some order and payment records for legal and tax reasons.
Using wee-deliver
- The delivery fee is shown before you order. Item prices come from the shop's menu or what you tell the rider.
- Cash: pay the rider the amount shown when your order arrives. Mobile money: pay only to the official wee-deliver number shown in the app; your order is sent to riders once we confirm the payment.
- You can cancel an order until a rider accepts it. If a paid order is cancelled, we refund it.
- Only order things that are legal and safe to carry. Riders may refuse unsafe or suspicious orders.
- Treat riders with respect. We may close accounts that abuse riders, give false orders or misuse the app.
- Riders are independent contractors. We do our best to make sure deliveries arrive safely and on time; if something goes wrong, contact us and we will help sort it out.
- We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
